“Whoever helps break the fast of a fasting person will have the same reward as the one [who fasted] without decreasing anything from the reward of the fasting person” (Hadith, Tirmidhi).
Countless number of people do not know where their next meal is going to be coming from and go to bed on empty stomachs. Even though there is enough food for everyone to eat, 25,000 people die every single day from hunger.
Every year, we distribute food packs to hundreds of families. We include in these packages the basic nutritional foods required to get these families through this month of fasting. We enlist only the families who are struggling to make it by, especially in this month when work is very limited. These food packs make a tremendous impact for them and their families to get through this blessed month.
